... A very good place to start

It's not often I post a link to a joke in my blog. Come to think of it, apart from this one... I've posted about zero. Well, there's a first time for everything.

hahahahaha

And my dear Chris, hang in there. You sounded burnt out and I don't want to see that happen! Take a true Sabbath rest for yourself this coming Sabbath, OK?

I was feeling pretty awful last night, actually - there'd been a culmination of things going wrong, and I'd been "hanging on", with a British-style stiff upper lip, trying to maintain the confident outlook of "Sure, I'll have that done by tomorrow morning". If I've promised something, then it WILL happen, even if I have to stay up until 6AM to do it.

At times like that, I need to be able to come to Threshold and have fun. But for a couple of reasons, Thresh wasn't as much fun as it should have been - culminated with a guild twink who nearly got himself losered. That's why I was feeling awful. I was KVMing between setting up Windows XP (hardly fun!) and Threshold, and Thresh wasn't what it ought to have been.

Let's hope rehearsal today (Sat) and tomorrow's performance (Sun) go well. Hmm... I wonder how my mobile internet connection will go when I'm up-country...
